Just wanting opinions on this.

Baby is due mid Dec so could, if late, be born very close to Christmas.

We re going to family for Christmas day if I feel up to it and depending on the kind of birth I have etc but DH seems to be under the impression that I will drive as I will be breastfeeding so not drinking.

What s driving like with sleep deprivation etc and is it likely I will even want to or be able to drive carefully.

What do you think, would you do it.

If it is a bring booze atmosphere, it is probably not the best place so soon after birth. If you are going, it is probably best that your DH prepares himself to drive in case you are not feeling up to it. You might not want to stay the whole time and what if you don t feel lie driving and your DH is unable to drive.

Is your DH expecting to drink so much to not be able to drive. Remind him that parenting comes with a lot more responsibility than that and if he can t drive because of his alcohol level, he can t look after the baby either.
