1.3 - Installing a downloaded cracked version of Call of Duty: World at War:

When you have downloaded your game of, Call of Duty: World at War CoD5 you will be able

to start the installation of it. A downloaded game usually comes in one or several compressed files.

Most common file formats for downloaded games are, . zip . rar . iso

How to handle and unpack such file formats . zip and . rar is being explained in this section of the website.

Start unpacking your download to any suitable location.

After you unpacked Call of Duty: World at War . zip . rar, browse to the directory where you unpacked the files, and run SETUP.EXE

If your version of Call of Duty: World at War is a . iso, mount this like explained in this section

of the website and open the virtual drive in My Computer. Now run SETUP.EXE

During the installation, you will be prompted to fill out a CD-KEY. Now, press ALT TAB and

browse to the directory where you downloaded all patches fixes to see chapter 1.2 - supplies.

The easiest way is to extract to your desktop so you can easily track back the file you just extracted.

Do not start the game just yet. First there is more to do, like installing the game- patches.

1.4 - Installing all Call of Duty: World at War patches:

Browse to the directory where you downloaded all patches fixes to see chapter 1.2 - supplies,

and extract if needed when . rar, all the patches. Run double-click, CoDWaW patch 1.0 to 1.1.EXE:

A installer will appear just like when you were installing the full game..

You may click Agree and Next to every question you will receive during the installation

of each patch for, Call of Duty: World at War CoD5.

If the installation of patch CoDWaW-1.0 to 1.1 finished, you may start the installation of the next patch, CoDWaW-1.1 to 1.2.EXE

If the installation of patch CoDWaW-1.1 to 1.2 finished, you may start the installation of the next patch, CoDWaW-1.2 to 1.3.EXE

If the installation of patch CoDWaW-1.2 to 1.3 finished, you may start the installation of the next patch, CoDWaW-1.3 to 1.4.EXE

If the installation of patch CoDWaW-1.3 to 1.4 finished, you may start the installation of the next patch, CoDWaW-1.4 to 1.5.EXE

If the installation of patch CoDWaW-1.4 to 1.5 finished, you may start the installation of the next patch, CoDWaW-1.5 to 1.6.EXE

Your game- version of Call of Duty: World at War, is now the latest version. Version 1.7.

1.5 - How to crack your downloaded version of Call of Duty: World at War:

Now that the game including all patches is installed, we need to crack it because our game- version

is not legal. Here is how to crack Call of Duty: World at War CoD5 :

The easiest way is by creating a folder on your desktop.

After extraction, you will see these files in your new folder:

Now, select all three files I selected in the example above and right- click them.

Next, browse to your Call of Duty: World at War installation directory.

If you haven t changed this during the game installation, the default game directory is:

C: Program Files Activision Call of Duty - World at War

In this directory, click right- mouse button and choose, paste.

Windows will ask you if you want to overwrite the files.

Ok your game is now succesfully cracked.

1.6 - How to fix your profile for Call of Duty: World at War:

In order to set your profile in Call of Duty: World at War, we need to run the game once and immediately after, close it.

You can do this like described below:

Run double- click, CoDWaW.EXE selected in screen above.

The game will now launch, but your profile hasn t been set yet. To arrange this, close the game

immediately when you enter the game menu, and browse back to your installation directory:

Ok, when the game succesfully closed itself, run double click, NKCSS CoD 5 WaW Profile Fix:

You will see a screen like this:

Fill out your desired profile- nickname, and click the Create Profile and Fix My Problem. button.

You will get a warning message like this one:

Click yes or Ja in my case.. my version of windows is Dutch ;P

You will see this next screen:

Click No or Nee in my case.. my version of windows is Dutch ;P

The last thing to do in order to install a cracked version of Call of Duty: World at War the proper way

is creating a shortcut to your desktop. This way you can always start the game quickly without the need

to browse to your installation folder every time.

For the last time, browse to your installation directory:

Right- click on the file named, CodWaw_LANFixed. Select Copy to and choose, Desktop.

A shortcut from this file is now created on your desktop.

That s it. Your installation has finished and you will be able to play the game properly.

Close all programs applications and start your game of Call of Duty: World at War,

via the shortcut you created to your desktop, called: Shortcut to CodWaw_LANFixed.

1.7 - Installing Configuring Hamachi for VPN play of Call of Duty: World at War:

Hamachi is a tool that creates a secured LAN Local Area Connection somewhere on the web.

More explanation about Hamachi can be found on this page

In order to play the game with friends over a VPN Virtual Private Network connection, using

Hamachi, you need to download Hamachi version 1.0.2.1.

It is very important that you de-install all older newer versions of Hamachi from your computer.

Call of Duty: World at War played over Hamachi will; ONLY WORK WITH HAMACHI VERSION 1.0.2.1

Browse to the directory where you downloaded all patches fixes to see chapter 1.2 - supplies.

Extract, Hamachi-1021.RAR to any location you wish.

Browse to the directory where you extracted Hamachi-1021.RAR

Run double-click, hamachi1021en.EXE

Install Hamachi to the default directory next, next, next.. .

- You don t have to share system- files.

- Choose Basic free edition of Hamachi.

When Hamachi loads up, it will look like this:

Click the Power On button in the left bottom corner.

You will be prompted to insert a username.

Insert your unique username and press ok.

Hamachi will now connect you to its network and will give you a Connected Status after

connecting, probing and the synchronising..

Now that you are connected either you, or one of your friends, must create a new network.

The others will join that network.

if you are the Hamachi Host, you should do the following:

Click the Marked Button and click on Create a new network. .

The host you must now enter a Network Name and a Network Password.

Go ahead. Enter a unique network name and a password and click on the Create button.

Your new Hamachi network is now created.

If you are the Hamachi Client friend that connects to the host s Hamachi network,

Click the Marked Button and click Join an existing network. .

Go ahead. Fill out the Network Name and Network Password you have become from the Hamachi host and click the Join button.

If all done correct you will see a screen like this,

where ICaRuS connected to the VPNgamer Hamachi Network :

A crucial step for all Hamachi VPN players including the host to make, is making a few changes to the Hamachi IPv4 Network Adapter.

Normally this step isn t needed but Call of Duty: World at War over Hamachi VPN requires some special attention.

How and which changes you should make to the Hamachi IPv4 Network Adapter I will explain:

First close all applications, especially Hamachi.

Next click Start -- Settings -- Network Connections.

You will encounter a screen like this:

Right- click the Hamachi Network Interface and click Properties.

A screen like this will pop up:

Double click on Internet-protocol TCP/IP or left-click it once and hit Properties

Properties Eigenschappen, in Dutch.

Fill out the same information as showed in the image above.

Instead of using 5.184.137.149 as IP-address, use your own Hamachi IP-address.

To find out what your Hamachi IP-address is, open up run Hamachi.

Your Hamachi IP-address is showed On top of Hamachi in big / fat lettertype :

Now fill out this address in my case 5.184.137.149 in the properties for Internet-Protocol TCP/IP.

x Use the following IP-address:

The final step you have to make is clicking on the Advanced button.

When you click on Advanced a screen like this will appear:

De- select Automatical Metric and set Interface-metric to: 10 ten

On all screens that are opened click the OK buttons. Your settings will be saved

and the screens will close. After this do close Hamachi also. Reboot your computer and test

Call of Duty: World at War with your friends, via Hamachi VPN connecion.

My friends and me play the Nazi Zombies Mod and Co-0p games via the Hamachi VPN connection.

Call of Duty: World at War has a lot of good game- modes to offer. I prefer it s Nazi Zombie mod though.

It works flawless in combination with Hamachi. Next to Hamachi we also use Skype.

Skype is a program which allows you to speak with your friends / relations with a VOIP connection

Voice Over IP. This way you can also chat about team strategies with each other during the games.

Skype will be discussed in another tutorial on the VPNgamer s website.

1.8 - Ingame settings for Call of Duty: World at War:

To start or join a Hamachi VPN game:

From Windows, open run Hamachi.

create join a network, like explained

Start your game of Call of Duty: World at War, via the shortcut you created to your desktop, called: Shortcut to CodWaw_LANFixed

When Call of Duty: World at War is loaded up, and the Main Menu appears you can choose several

game- modes to play with your friends, via the Hamachi VPN connection.

Call of Duty: World at War CoD5 - Nazi Zombies Mode

Call of Duty: World at War CoD5 - Co-Operative Mode

To start the Call of Duty: World at War CoD5 - Nazi Zombies Mode, from the Main Menu in game:

All Hamachi VPN players that are in the party including the game host, must load a mod. Click on Mods.

The list with all Mods appear:

All players must Launch the same mod before the game can be hosted.

Select a Mod to your choice nazi_zombie_alb and click the Launch button All players..

The game will automatically reload with the proper mod selected.

NOTE: A standard 1.6 installation of Call of Duty: World at War contains only 4 Zombie Maps, unlike what you

see in the image above. You can download more than 100 Custom Maps from, for example Usenet, or Torrents.

Now all players must choose COOPERATIVE from Call of Duty: World at War s Main Menu:

Never choose Multiplayer because that seems to mess up things like your profile and mods

All players will see this menu:

One of the players must click HOST LAN and be the Host of the game.

The other players must click on FIND GAME.

The Host will now arrange the Game Settings while the other players connect to their game host.

If you are supposed to find a game, make sure your settings are set to LAN and Nazi Zombies :

Refresh List or Quick Refresh if you were in the lobby sooner, than the host.

If you want to play CO-OPERATIVE instead of Nazi Zombies just make sure no players have loaded a mod,

via the main menu of Call of Duty: World at War. The game host must create a game and select Game Setup.

He must now choose CO-OP instead of Nazi Zombies.

That s it. You are good to go. Have fun.

Is there any newer hamachi version that works with world at war. because version 1.0.2.1 slows down internet msn, this i know for sure because it happened to both me and two of my friends all using W7.

I m not sure about if newer versions of hamachi work with Call of Duty: World at War.

When me and some friends tested this out in 2009 we used several newer versions of hamachi, but couldn t get things to work..

Only with version 1.0.2.1 and the settings ment in the tutorial we got the game to work, proper.

Sindce some time now, Call of Duty: World at War patch 1.7 is released.

We haven t tested the game with version 1.7 yet, but this i will try soon.

I want to try the newest version of hamachi in combination with Call of Duty: World at War version 1.7

Maybe this will offer a solution. When tested, i will update this tutorial.

Still odd though.. Me and my friends don t seem to have these issues regarding slow internet msn when using version 1.0.2.1 of hamachi.

I have some new information regarding your question on using newer versions of hamachi.

After testing the latest version of hamachi 2.0.2.85 in combination with Call of Duty: World at War patch 1.7

i have to bring you the sad news that this didn t work out for me and my friends. We tested this in several ways,

in- and excluding the network metric interface settings of the hamachi network adapter like also explained in this tutorial.

We decided to de-install hamachi 2.0.2.85 and we installed version 1.0.2.1 again. At least this works again even with patch 1.7.

The tutorial information is now also fully updated for use with Call of Duty: World at War, patched to version 1.7.

Would be fun to see you join our hamachi network so we will be able to play some good games together soon.

Everyone is welcome as long as seats are available in the hamachi network.

People who are not playing or offline for a long time will be evicted from our hamachi network, when the network is full.

was looking for this kind of tutorial for days me and my friends just finished downloading cod 5 only coz of the zombie mod game play and are unable to find the right tutorial to get it working. When you said it s possible to play on Tunngle, what do you have to do. I don t believe that setting metric to 10 on Tunngle connection properties is the only thing to do ;

Hi Styl1sh, to be honoust i m not sure. The only thing you probably should do is install the game, patches and cracks like explained in this tutorial.

Then install tunngle and connect to the Call of Duty: World at War tunngle network. Start the game, find lan games and connect to one.

I am not sure if this will work because i never tested tunngle with Call of Duty: World at War.

Hahaha. Tunngle doesn t even need any configuring, and work just fine. Also, Tunngle channels are big, so there is always someone playing.

For future readers, I suggest you download patch 1.5 and 1.6 from torrents. FTP hosting is not very reliable, when error occurs, you have to download everything anew, and torrents always do checksum of file. I ve lost 5h just because of downloading failures here :

Thing is, i couldn t host the files on www.vpngamer.com because of the big filesize, so i had to point to another host of these patches..

Glad to hear tunngle also works well, but not with version 1.7 of Call of Duty: World at War.

I would like to know this because you only mention patch 1.5 and 1.6.

Also i tryd to connect to vpn hamachi servers but they are all full. You should kick the oof-line ones if they are off line for 1-2 days so others that are active can join

You are absolutely right about the hamachi channels kicking inactive players. I should do this more often but i m not online much in hamachi lately.

This is due some personal stuff but in a while ill be back for some more active gaming.

I suggest you and/or others create your own channel s. You may list them here ofcourse :D

how do you make your owne network on hamachi. every time somebody makes it, other players cant find it, says the network doesn t exist . We are pretty sure we didin t use caps lock or some other letter that could result in not finding a network we made

I did not mention 1.7 patch because it downloaded succesfully after 1st try, due to its small size. Of course it works fine on it.

I m here because I have an annoying problem: WaW is creating some random name profiles every time I run the game.. I m deleting it and using ProfileFix, but still it creates itself. I have no idea what s going on, and how do I fix it.. Sometimes it s fixing all by itself, but not for long.

Could you please post a screenshot printscreen when this error occurs.

It s not an error, it s an issue.. I go to appdata, change active account to Styl1sh mine, and when game launches, it swaps onto some random one..

Tried to google it, but no luck.

edit: these random accounts are trying to get online, wtf.

edit2: tried to change my profile folder name to this tr1p3r1z, it has my settings, but still tries to get online WTF..

edit3: deleting whole players folder and launching game results, of course, in creating tr1p3r1z profile again

Are you sure you haven t pressed play online once. This seems to mess up profiles. Only use the play on LAN option.

If this is not the case i would suggest you choose a nickname without special characters and/or numbers.

Just try Stylish instead of Styl1sh for example.

Otherwise i m not sure. Are you sure your computer is free from trojans/virusses.

Thank you mate, great tutorial u helped my game work but u fucked up my net. When I disabled the Hamachi my internet conection returned instantly. I spent hours configuring my router my modem and connection, but there is something mest up about step 1.7. :confused:

soryy i don t know from where to post a question.i have a problem i run windows 7 home premium 64 bit i installed the game exactly like in the tutorial but when i tried to run it as instructed at the beghining at chapter 1.6 it show s me an error Fastfile for zone code_post_gfx is corrupt or unreadable. is this a problem because i run a 64 bit operating sistem or what. please help

carbonn: This is the right place to ask your question ; This is not a x64 problem for sure, as i tested CoD:WaW on Hamachi VPN also with a 64 bits Windows 7 OS.

Only difference could be i m using professional instead of home premium. Your issue seams related to the installation of CoD:WaW itself.

I guess the installation became corrupt somehow. I suggest you try a re-install of Call of Duty: World at War..

Where did you download CoD:WaW from. And were the patches applied succesfully.

i ve downloaded the game from isohunt and there were a lot of posts of that torrent that says that the games works very well and the patches applyed succesful

and i m using the latest standard version of apple macbook pro 13.3 inch ;2.4 ghz ;4 gig af ram ddr 3;nvidia geforce 320m; hdd 250 5400 rpm. i m running winows home premium 64 bit through an application from os x called bootcamp..could this be a problem..

Hey gamer, I found some facts about my issue:

1. It happens when game is minimalised for too long time 5 minutes

2. It lasts until restart didn t try the relogging yet, it s fixed

3. Swapping your profile name for that random one results in loading your configuration, which still wants to connect online and sometimes won t let your loading to finish.

So it seems PC restart is fixing it. Still no idea what the cause is.

Carbonn: Thanks for that extra piece of information. You might found your problem there. This turorial was not designed in order to work with OSX and/or Bootcamp.

It is only tested on a normal installation of Windows XP and Windows 7 Vista probably also. Sorry, i can t be of any further assistance with OSX, due a lack of knowledge on that :

i ve played medal of honor pacific assault ; medal of honor airborne on mac with windows 7 and those games worked perfect max rez and evrything but those are made by ea games an the call of duty series is made by activysion and they have problems

About that net problem I left the Default Gateway the thing under IP adress at hamachi properties empty, so instead of 5.0.0.1 its all blank, when I did that everything worked great, found some fellas on one of many hamachi servers and we played der reise.

I burned this all just now, by tomorow I should be pwning with my friends.

Firstly i would like to thank you for the wonderful guide.

We are 4 friends that play the zombie mode. But we got a problem : one of us always times out when we play the maps zombie verrÃ ckt, shi no numa, der riese. We can perfectly play the standard map nacht der Untoten with 4 players.

So we all 4 get in to the lobby that s no problem, then we start the game, we see everyone loading and synchronizing, but one of us keeps synchronizing so long that after a few minutes the game starts but we are only 3. Then it says that the player who is missing Timed out.

Could you help us with this issue.

I m not sure what the issue could be. Are you sure your friend followed the tutorial settings setup exactly as my tutorial describes.

Weird thing is that you guys can play Nacht der Untoten without a problem. The other 3 maps should not be a issue than.

Has he tried a re-installation of the game and patches.

Otherwise he could try to be the host instead and see if that maybe gives a temporary solution.

If possible, please post some more specs of his installation, machine info, operating system i.e.

I ve got a problem: as soon as we change manually IPs in Internet protocol of hamachi me and my friend doesn t send any more packets.

Example: We can listen to skype, but we can t talk, and after first check it disconnects..

Because of it in game we can not find friends server How can we fix this.

What version of hamachi do you and your friends use. Have you all the setup game, hamachi, network adapter settings just like i explained in my tutorial.

If you go to Network Connections

Then right-click LAN-Connection

Double-click Internet Protocol TCP/IP

Are you making use of manual IP addresses DNS server addresses.

If so, they should be set to automatical address a IP address and automatical adress a DNS server address, if possible in your network situation.

Also make sure you filled out correct Internet Protocol TCP/IP settings,

according explained in the tutorial, for the Hamachi Network Adapter.

I would also recommend to read over the tutorial once more, just to check if all settings have been set right.

If this information isn t of any help, i suggest you and your friend try automated settings at the Hamachi Network Adapter, instead of:

And then run Call of Duty.. Not sure if these tips will give you any solution, becauze i never faced the issue you have a.t.m.

To become the mod list ingame, you need a additional download.

The additional download contains 73 custom zombie maps wich will appear as mods ingame.

Also, where did you download the game from. Is it the proper version.

I am already playing the game multiplayer on cracked servers, but i am sure everything will work out to play co-op with friends. If you want to host a private zombie/co0p match, best way to manage this.. is by using hamachi.

Sorry i probably don t get what you mean, but i m guessing you wan t to play the game with a bunch of friends, only.

You should download them from the web torrents or usenet as stated before..

Therefore i can t manage these networks anymore.

I suggest you join other networks posted by users, or create one yourself and invite friends.

first of all thanks for the tutorial and the links, hamachi works like a charm.

I m trying to do some FFA with friends, and i ve tried tons of solutions but none of them work.

This tutorial is for playing zombie coop mode, not FFA.

I ve even tried using the private client/server patch but i get a server not authenticated error.

Is there some working way to play FFA WaW over hamachi.

This tutorial is very credible and I ll probably try it with my friends when school finishes, I ve already played all the WAW campaign and it is an awesome game.

One thing: I didn t download the game using your link cuz it isn t working but by using a torrent on piratebay. The patches were installed just as fine with the little detail of being installed on another specific location though I m sure that won t be a trouble.

When I actually try it I ll leave a feedback with everything I ve done that is/isn t here.

p.s. I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits

Rathorian, such NZB file s should be downloaded with a usenet downloader program like i.e. Grab-it, Newsleacher or AltBinz. I use AltBinz myself.

So, on this page vpngamer-codwaw max 100 adv_age 1100 server you should select the download you wish and hit the Create NZB button.

Save the file to any location and load it up in any usenet downloader program as mentioned above.

It is not necessary to get through the whole campaing to do the Co-Op zombies in Call of Duty 5: World at War.

In Call of Duty: BlackOps, you need to finish singleplayer to unlock a special zombiemap, but this doesn t count for World at War CoD5.

EDIT: I tried Newsleecher and it said I needed a server, I tried Grab-It and I didn t figure out how it worked, I tried Altbinz and it didn t let me connect I m quite confused about this.

COuldn t you upload the parts to megaupload or smthing like that. I think It would be more simple.

You need to enter your username and password you became from your ISP, if they support newsgroups.

Many internet service providers only provide you from a 30 days download -retention, it s their free service.

If you would like a much bigger retention and faster download speeds, you will have to look for a paid newsgroup -provider.

I m using Lightning Usenet fast download speed at the moment and i m also pleased with Eweka big retention.

Via search indexes such as Binsearch and Yabsearch you will be able to track/find downloads

but there s also much easier tools to find downloads with, but i m only familiar with Dutch versions like FTD, Spotnet, NZBspots.

Maybe i better write a tutorial on this, because it isn t easy to explain in only a few sentences.

But once you got it, you never want without downloading from.. Usenet :cool:

Well, I promised I would give a feedback about this and here it is:

Done in a Windows 7 and a Vista OS

Me and a friend downloaded the game from and we started using this guide at step 1.4

We did it all as said there and there was a little problem:

At 1.6 don t use a spaced name. We tried Carnage Rathorian and Carnage Brothers and it didn t work out, only without the spaces between the clan name and the name.

We continued to follow the guide and it all went okey.

ADVICE: The host must be the user with the fastest computer, ALWAYS. It will grant you less lag duh..

I wanted to say thank you to VPNgamer for such a great tutorial.

We will be a group of 4 to 5 friends playing zombies I know the cap is 4.

Maybe we will later post some servers so you can play with us.

NOTE: I ve also heard about a WaW Limiter wich changes the limit of players playing cooperative games. If someone wants to try, message me. Or if the moderator allows me, I ll post the link at vpngamer.com

Hi dude, thanks for the tutorial, but i got a problem.. I am stuck at the update from v 1.3 to v 1.4. It says 1628: failed to complete instalation. I searched the web for the issue and therefore updated my windows installer to version 4.5, but it still wont work. Any ideas. Anyone.

Oh, man, i am so lame I just found it out. So to anyone else who will encounter the problem: Run the program as administrator via the Run as dialog from the context menu - no matter you are already loged in under administrator account, just retype your name and password password might be mandatory, so create one if you dont have any and it should run properly. At least it worked for me. :-

optionaly you can try: Control Panel - if not using clasic view Click Performance and Maintenance - Administrative tools - Local security policy - Software restriction policies - When I did this there weren t any set. So you have to click action tab to create them. When you do so click onto Enforcement - Then select All users except local administrators

We are currently not playing zombies because there s a problem with my desktop s motherboard.

Another thing: Carnage wYLOOP won t be a fulltime user because of his limited internet.

Me and Brothers are currently trying to get a bit more used to the maps, developing tactics and such things, we ve only tried two mods since we almos only play on Nacht der Untoten.

Our goal is to reach an high level on the developer s maps and then advance to custom maps since they have an higher difficulty level normally.

When I have the opportunity and after going a bit more into the issue with Brothers, I ll post the servers.

Sadly that is not possible. If you use a special mod all players should load this mod before the game starts.

ummm ive been looking around for ages now and cant seem to find a crack that supports custom zombies. When i read this post i was quite excited and thought i had finally found the answer to my problem. I downloaded the crack, installed it and then loaded up the game when into mods What do you know. No mods. And yet i have several custom zombie mods in the mods folder and still no mods are showing up. im not sure weather this is a result of yet another crack that is unable to run custom zombies or am i missing something. have i done something wrong. please reply :

I ve followed all steps, even tried a previous version 1.0.1.5 of hamachi, but I can t get it to work.

What hamachi version are you using at the moment when receiving the session is no longer available bug.

I m using Hamachi 1.0.2.1 now, using the settings for the network adapter Hamachi as said.

However, there is also another problem now. When I start WaW, it will, even after using the profile fix multiple times, try to connect an online profile with a random name, such as cvnxds or Dimokrus.Sometimes the game will boot without connecting, but when I boot it another time it will try to connect again. Shortcut is set to CoDWaW LanFixed.exe, all settings are good, patched to 1.7, what is wrong.. Very annoying, especially if you consider the fact that I ve been playing with my brother for 4 hours straight without trouble before, AND it deletes the mods folder.

EDIT: The no longer available bug is gone. It now only happens when CoD:WaW connects to a random online profile.

Hmm weird indeed. You are sure you never chose Multiplayer. because that seems to mess up things like your profile and deletes your mods..

I can remember a guy called Styl1sh had somekinda same issues, but he didn t post a real solution here i think.

But reading the comments on previous pages of this thread might help you fixing this issue.

Nope, never chose multiplayer once. However, I found out that if you start the game for the first time after booting your PC, it will run like it s supposed to. It means that when I want to play WaW again after doing something else, I will have to reboot my PC.

Maybe the profile fixer needs an update of some kind. Or something like that ; -

For people with W7 and having startup problems with the LanFixed.exe crashing at the beginning. Make it Vista compatible. Me and my friend were having this problem and it made us crazy, untill I tried that and it works like a charm.

Sadly me and some friends experience the same issues sometimes.

For example; When i play a game with Luxos Neggix the guys from the example movies this tutorial we can only see Luxos his game,

when he creates one. So if Neggix or I create one, Luxos can t see the game lobby and will not be able to join. Sadly i don t have a fix for this yet.

In the mean time we always let Luxos create a game..

Hey VPN. Thanks for tut, but theres a problem. If change Hamachi Interface Proprieties with my ip and put 255.0.0.0 under, and 1.0.0.5, my connexion is down. But i havent reboot my pc after that. You need to have a newsgroup downloader in order to download the mappack from usenet ;

Have you tried joining him instead. Me and my friends seem to have the same issue now and then. Joining someone else usually helps. I have no fix for this weird problem yet..

Ive tried to join his but it gives the same error. Anyway we got it working with tunngle so its not a problem anymore.

after trying to make it work co-op on hamachi, now everytime i start the game it said my key being used by other computer already n gamesave does not work in single plyer mode no more.

yup, tat was the folder but it only give 1 zombie folder choice when i click mods in zombie mode not as many zombie choices as i had seen in your instructions anyway, now everytime i start the game it said my key was used by another computer already, samething happen to my cod: black ops which never happen before n also the game save does not work no more in single player mode. it s weird

Not sure about the cd-key thingy, but the extra mods maps i have in my list should be downloaded separately.

You can download them via Usenet for example. See my 2nd post :cool:

Wenn PB aus ist, meint das Spiel es solle an, wenn es an ist tut sich nach einem Consolen connect garnichts. In den Favoriten wird mir das laufende Spiel sogar angezeigt aber wenn ich auf Join gehe passiert nichts. Mir ist aufgefallen das ich im MenÃ den Punkt Create a Class grau hinterlegt habe und ich bekomme es auch nicht hin dieses zu aktivieren.

Habe es mit 1.0 wie auch 1.7 probiert und es sieht alles gleich aus und unter anderen Versionen ebenfalls. Den Profil Patch und andere Fixes habe ich bereits ausprobiert.

I m sorry to inform you there s no possibility for online play. As i stated in my tutorial you should never click Play online as this seems to mess up your profile. This tutorial i created for people friends who want to play CoD:WaW Co0p/Zombie mode with each other, over a VPN connection. VPN Virtual Private Network. This means that you and your friends are setting up a LAN Local Area Connection somewhere on the web, so that one of you guys is able to create a game and others can join that game. I have no advise for real online play using a cracked version of CoD:WaW.. As far as i know this isn t possible due to an improper cd-key. If you just want to play the game with some of your friends i would advise you to follow this tutorial step by step and all will work out just fine. If you want to play online and connect to random gameserver, i suggest you buy the game. Hope i understood you well and hope this helps.

yeah right, this tutorial isn t for cracked online gaming, but this version is nearly the same like that where it is possible to play on cracked servers via Hamachi or Tunngle and i hoped that anyone know what the problem is.

I used the method before, and I had to uninstall WaW and now the LanFix doesn t work. It just crashes, but the normal CoDWaW.exe works, but I can t play LAN games Hamachi, Tunngle. I do not know why the LanFix no longer works for me. It just crashes when I run it, and my screen goes black. So I have to hit Ctrl Alt Delete, then go task manager then end the CoDWaW.exe.

So, I can t see the error report or anything. Any fix to this. Thanks.

Mods is kind of confusing when it comes to Call of Duty: World at War. In CoD:WaW the word Mods must be seen similiar to the word Maps.

And sadly, the custom maps are not included in the default installation of a Call of Duty: World at War game.

Instead, they should be downloaded elsewere on the web for example via Usenet, or Torrents.

Hey welcome. I will provide you from the answer here if you don t mind. All DL links still work but you need a newsgroups / usenet account with some retention to download.

Otherwise seek for torrents. Many people still play CoD:WaW Zombies/CoOp. Also, version 1.7 is the current/latest version. My advise is to upgrade to v1.7. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the fast reply. we didnt download the map but the version of cracked waw we downloaded included 4 custom zombies maps, so we are curently trying to load those, any other ones we do put in the mods file though dont work either, yes we both launched and can get in the lobby

Your welcome : I would really advise you download the version of CoD:WaW i advise in this tutorial sindce i don t know what happened to the cracked version you installed. The creators of your downloaded version could have altered many files that may interfere to setup CoD:WaW over a hamachi VPN connection the proper way. The version you should download is the original one. Once you own the good version of CoD:WaW use the tutorial and tools provided here. Do you have newsgroups. If so, you can download the proper version of Call of Duty: World at War from the 2nd post in this tutorial. If you don t own a payserver theres a possibility you get incomplete files from your download, because of certain retention days old. Otherwise, just add another reply and i will upload the full game to usenet again..

What s the password to even get into Hamachi.

I did everything like in tutorial except for installing mods and I dont see any servers when my hamachii buddy is hosting and same when I m hosting. Game keeps refreshing the list and never stops it, doesn t matter if i press the refresh button or not. Any ideas. :/

Nickpower11: How do you mean exactly. You should create a hamachi network yourself. If you do so, you also know what the password is.

If you try to connect to another hamachi network the hamachi host should provide you from the correct password.

Not that i know of, but may i ask why you don t want to use Hamachi.

You could also use Tunngle or Gameranger i.e. but than you re still making use of some kind of program.

Beacuse It would be faster, and prevent any internet lags. And my friends will have better connection. So you dont think i can click host lan game and then my friend just have to press the button to open the console so he can type: Connect myiphere and hit enter. will that work. Anyways we can test it out soon.

Hello first of all this work awesome the first time so now me and my friends want to play again BUT I kinda dont have space on the HDD.So I install the patches in local disk D: but it seems like half of the files are going to C: where I have almost no space.So is there a way to prevent that if no will this work if a friends sends me the patched game without me installing the game or patches.And great tutorial :D

Thanks a lot, directhitt. When you install the full game on your D: drive and afterwards install all patches to the same directory all goes well i suppose.. If you install the cracked game on your C: drive and patches to D: the game will not be patched properly. Patches should be installed over the game directory like explained in the tutorial for a proper functionality. Otherwise i suggest you get yourself a new bigger harddrive in the near future and clone your current OS or C: drive to the new harddisk, or reinstall windows. Hope this answers your question.

Or did you mean that during the installation of some of the CoD:WaW patches, you get no choice to which location you would like to install to.

Well I basically install the game on D: drive and start installing all the patches in D: also but with every patch I install not only D: gets full like its supposed to but C: gets full too.

It seems to be some kind of bug in the patch-installer or CoD:WaW must use your c: users user appdata. . directory even when you install the game to a different partition. :confused:

To be honoust i don t think that would work. You should create some free diskspace and install the game as described in this tutorial.

OK so I have all the downloads and stuff done, and my friend and I want to connect to a game. Whenever I host my friend cannot find it, but when he hosts, I can find it but it says Game Session no longer availible. I m not exactly sure how to set up the hamachi network on window 7 x64 and neither is my friend. Whenever we get to step 1.7 we cannot even find the hamachi network in the network listing. So if you could help us out that would be great.

Yes we have the same OS. The odd thing is I was able to connect with a different friend. The other friend also was running Windows 7 x64, but I could actually connect to him. The odd thing is that whenever I host to my first friend the one I have issues connecting with he can t see the server in existance, but my other friend the one I could work with can find it just fine. I don t know if it is just him, but it is rather odd.

OK I would say that I am unable to host, except I was hosting for 2 other people just a few hours ago and it worked flawlessly. It is just that my one friend s game doesn t want to connect with my server at all. The other people I was playing with are in the UK Im in the USA and my friend lives in the same town as me but cannot connect.

I ve never tried this before and was wondering if you still have to use the certain version of Hamachi to do this or will the newest version work. I ve gotten the Avira version of CoDWW and wanted to just play the zombie survival with my friends. Do I have to download your version you guys have posted.

You should still use the older version of Hamachi which is posted in this tutorial. I have tried several newer versions but without any luck.

Ok just to let you know my friend and I just tested it using a different CoDWaW and it worked great. I assume when you play co-op you don t gain any rank at all.

One last thing. If I want to play multiplayer isn t that gonna be a issue since there s no Punkbuster or at least I mean you said not to install it. I guess I have to have 2 copies installed.

Firewall would be one thing. Cause it will pop up if I m not mistaken 2 times. One for the game and I think one for Hamachi. I would make sure that after you did the reboot you checked your network setting for the Hamachi to make sure it took when you changed it and rebooted. My friend and I got it on the 1st try and he s using one of those Verizon modems cause where he s at he can t get dsl or cable internet.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial great help. I have the same issue as many and as you VPN admin. When one of my friends hosts luke me and my other friend akshay can connect to him and see his game, however when me and akshay want to play we cannot see each others game and when we do which is 1 out of 100 times it goes to join then says Game session is no longer availabe.. and its very frustrating. He is running however Windows 7 64bit and im running Windows 7 32bit, we have tried manually overiding the IPv4 setting so wwe input our hamachi, we ve tried using version 1.0.2.1 and doesnt work. However we used the newest version of hamachi to connect to my friend luke which worked and we have only now downgraded to try to fix. ran out of options on how to fix and a fix would be great, thank you and great tutorial

I own all CoD s on PS3, and yes they are. CoOp is much fun. MW3 has a lot of gamemodes/types to choose from when it comes to CoOp.

You know VPN there s a new thing called Tunngle that s suppose to be better then Hamachi cause it s made for gaming over networks while Hamachi was suppose to be more for businesses. I tried it out with my friend and it s really nice. You see a full list of games that are hosted in the program and you can make of course your own network if you want.

Now I m not really trying to advertise for these guys cause I just got it but you might wanna check it out. Nothing really special you have to do except a port forward and that s it.

Yes i m aware of Tunngle. We have used it several times before. Still we are using Hamachi more if we just want to play some games with friends only. Tunngle is better if you want to play with people from all over the world. And yes, this version of Call of Duty: World at War is the full version ;

No Bean, this only happens when you click on play online. I tried that once and never again, because that messed up my profile.. I never had profile issues when i only clicked on buttons described in this tutorial.

My modem is Motorola SB5100,my router is Tp-Link TL-WR741ND WIFI router, --this one is connected to my Nvidia nForve Networking Controller

You can also try to move the hamachi network adapter to the top of your network list.

Go into Network Connections Advanced Advanced Settings and put the Hamachi adapter at the top of the list.

Then start Hamachi and see what it does.

Seems like your pc is good enough. Are you on a wired or wireless connection. 54Mbps seems to be an older kind of network and/or wireless..

My advise is to follow this tutorial and not that info you got from YT. Is your friend also connected with the 1.0.2.1. version of Hamachi.

Go to your controlpanel, networkcentre, on the left side click on change adapter settings, right-click hamachi, enable. Hope this works. :D

Try to leave the gateway of hamachi ipv4 settings blank. So instead of 5.0.0.1 don t add anything. Keep the other settings the same as described in the tutorial. Hope this does the trick ;

Configure problem is likely caused by your firewalling software blocking DHCP Traffic on Hamachi adapter.Please make sure that UDP traffic from local port 68 to 67 at 5.0.0.1 is allowed. Alternatively you cna try disabling ur Firewall on hamachi adapter.

And are you using somekind of software firewall. Antivirus software. Try to disable the firewalling software and reconnect hamachi. Do this just to make sure no other software on your cpu is blocking access.

Np. But does Hamachi work with the default settings when no changes have been made to the hamachi network adapter settings, like explained in this tutorial.

Mods is another word for Maps within CoD:WaW. And custom maps are not default in this game. They should be downloaded separate in order to fill your Mods list ingame.

It actually does work, but you need a nzb-downloader newsgroup provider in order to download.

But to be honoust i don t know if you can play the custom zombie maps offline, because i don t have the game installed a.t.m. Ofcourse you could try and let us know, thnx.

yes, it does also work offline, you have to follow the steps, that are given in the README.txt in the map of the map-packs, if you dont have a README.txt, you have to follow these steps:

1. You need to install all the pathes till at least patch 1.4

2. Start Codwaw singleplayer, click on mods, and launch the mod you wanna play for example nazi_zombie_alb

3. Than you have to open the console in WAW, you can do it by pressing if this doesnt work, you have to enable the console in options -- game options -- enable console yes

4. Type in the console nazi_zombie_alb to play your launched mod it depends on witch mod you wanna play.
